Has your school or teacher recommended or suggested testing?
Have you spoken with your pediatrician and were told that you need to see a Mental Health Provider but are not sure your child needs a full psychological evaluation?
We offer ADHD Screenings that will screen your child/teen, get input from your child's teacher or teachers, and get input from the parents/guardians. Using research based screening tools, we will assess your child's behavior, mood, and impulsivity. Based on the three scales (Child, Teacher, and Parent), we will then be able to make an assessment that can give us feedback on a likely diagnosis. You will be given a written report of the screening that you can take to your pediatrician and school if needed. You might also be referred to a Licensed Psychologist for further psychological testing if needed.
What do I do with the results of the screening?
Use the results to guide treatment/therapy with your therapist
Use the results to help develop a plan with your school for TST, IEP, and 504 Plans
Use the results to discuss with your pediatrician medication options (if necessary)
Follow up with Licensed Psychologist or School Psychologist for further testing if indicated or necessary
